"Slimer"


Here's Ray's 1971 Superior-Cadillac Sovereign Regency limo style. He bought it for $800 before it was stripped of its motor and sent to the salvage yard. It only had 39,000 original miles! He says he has no idea why it was painted "slime" green although he suspects that it had a previous incarnation as a delivery car, since the words "WE DELIVER" were painted on the sides when he got it. Ray says it was an experience trying to get the car moved to his house. The brakes were "non-functional", so he hadda use a flatbed to move it, and ended up blowing out two tires on the flatbed!

"Here are a few pics that an online friend sent me....they were taken a little over 20 years ago. Gotta love the back of the 40's caddy! Here's what I was able to get for info from my friend Rich who took them. They were all taken about 20 years ago. All were near his hometown in Wisconsin. The black 67-68 Superior was owned by a Wisconsin DJ wh had a collection of them. The 63-64 was parked along side of someone's moble home for years. The 40's Caddy (which we think may be a Meteor) was left out in a field. He does not know what or if anything has happened to them."
