If you're ever in the San Diego area swing by Balboa Park an
check out the San Diego Automotive Museum. They rotate the displays frequently,
but always have around 80 rides to orb!
The day I took these pix I think half the rides were
motorcycles, or as my dad use to call 'em, "ass hammers" (That is 'til
I got my first bike, then he fell in love with 'em). I'm a big British bike fan,
that's why ya'll see a bunch of 'em below. I'm still lookin' for the perfect
'60's or early '70's Norton or BSA. Someday...
Some of this rides are extremely rare or one-of-a-kind. The
'10 Hunt Cabriolet, for example, was one of six made by the Hunt Automobile
Company of National City, CA. I think it's the only surviving example. An' that
'47 Caddy is DEFINITELY one-of-a-kind! Anyway, hope ya dig the pix!
