Black Roses

By Alus Shadow

Socially shunned,

I am normality disfigured.

And there is a place behind the bushes,

Where the black roses grow.

Beautiful mix,

of darkness and insanity,

I stand in awe.

The black roses grow.

Immortal beauty,

Lasting for all time.

Wicked, devine,

The black roses grow.

Power, sensuality,

Reveling in the night,

Death becomes them,

The black roses grow.

Specie above humankind.

The heralds of darkness,

Consumers of blood and bringers of death,

The black roses grow.

Hunting,

Feeding.

Feasting upon the very essence of life,

The black roses grow.

In the place behind the bushes,

I found eternity,

I found my dark serenity.

The Black roses bloom.
