Hearses of the Philippines
"The Philippine photos were taken by me on vacation. Both were on the island of Negros Oriental, near the city of Dumaguete. I saw the 67 Chevelle first. I was in the back of an easy ride and began screaming for the driver to stop. I had to have a photo. Everyone thought I was insane. The people of the Philippines don't have quite the appreciation of hearses like us Americans.
I saw the 64 about a week later at a different funeral home. I didn't have to shout very loud, the driver saw it too and knew I would want to stop.
A crowd at the funeral home came out as I was snapping off a reel of film at their car and asked my driver what I was doing. He told them I owned one of the biggest funeral homes in America and wanted to show all of my workers Philippine style. (I don't own a funeral home.) My driver just didn't want everyone to think I was Crazy."
