Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom
On Sunday, October 14th, 2001 we met again at Ronnie's lot. This time to caravan from Long Beach to Redlands. A 70 mile drive into the hot center of California to spend the day at Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom, a water an' amusement park.

Arriving at Ronnie's lot we found Ronnie an' Amy the Hearse Queen hangin' loose. Amy said she couldn't make it to Pharaoh's but wanted to swing by to say good-bye to ever'one. It was jus' a total pleasure to hang out with Amy, even if it was brief.

Jeff, Vickie, Martin, an' entourage arrived, bringin' Ronnie his lunch: a sandwich, heavy on the porn.

We said "so long" to Amy, an' off we went! Well, almost. First we stopped for gas at the station with the most confused attendants in SoCal. Then we were off!

After a pit stop in Riverside for bathroom breaks, replacin' Ronnie's license plate, an' watchin' the coolant fountain under Vicki an' Jeff's ride, we eventually made it to Pharaoh's. An hour late.

We were greeted at this small oasis in the desert by the smilin' faces of Gote, Rock, Larry & Rose, an' various other members of the disfunctional family we call the Phantom Coaches Hearse Club. 

Oh yeah, an' it felt like we were a mile from the sun! Anyway...

It was a blast!
